In addition to an excellent success record in creating fun, individualized training programs that help people to reach their weight loss, athletic performance, and muscle gain needs, Melody has the following experience:

Pre- and Post- Operative and Injury Rehabilitation

Melody has studied with physical therapists and chiropractors, accruing considerable experience in injury rehabilitation. While serving as a training assistant to intramural football and soccer teams, she developed her skills in assisted stretching and warm-up exercises. She has helped with rehabilitation work with team members as well. Melody also is a CAMTC Certified Massage Therapist with significant training in various modalities, including Thai, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Swedish, Chair, and Deep Tissue massage.  Melody has four years of education in Chinese medicine and acupuncture.

Melody is a Level 2 Certified Russian Kettlebell Instructor (RKC) and a Level 2 StrongFirst Certified Kettlebell Instructor (SFG).

Melody has obtained four levels (R, I, S, T) of education in Z-Health.

Melody is certified to administer Grey Cook's Functional Movement Screen (FMS).

Melody is a Certified Nutritional Specialist with the American Association of Sports Dietitians and Nutritionists (AASDN) and is available for nutritional consultations.

Melody is a Certified Indian Clubs Specialist (CICS), trained under modern day champion and pioneer of Indian Clubs, Dr. Ed Thomas.

Melody has had the honor of being an assistant instructor with the RKC four times and for StrongFirst once so far.  She is an ex-amateur boxer, and has played on soccer and floor hockey teams. She has been dancing since the age of 3 (ballet, modern, jazz, ballroom, swing, Latin, and even a little Korean) and rollerblades.  Melody is a competitive powerlifter.

Melody owns Evil Munky Enterprises,  which manufactures macebells, custom monkey bars, and other custom metal fitness equipment you likely won't see in many other places.
