Over the last year, and particularly over the last few weeks and months, I have lost and almost lost an unfathomable number of family, friends, and family of friends. Many of these people were in their 30's and 40's, and it just makes me want to reiterate over and over the following:

The most common advice I give to my weight loss clients is this: if you do only one thing to change your diet, cut out juice and soft drinks. This minor change can make a tremendous difference, not only in your body composition, but in your overall health.
