…No matter how effective Melody is at pushing her clients to do their best, I have never – in over 300 training sessions to date – been injured or pushed beyond my capacity. In fact, if I ever have so much as a muscle cramp or spasm, she has me on the gym’s massage table to work it out before continuing. On occasion if I’ve even felt a little worn down, she’s canceled the session on the spot and not charged me, reminding me that working out is not beneficial when I’m not feeling 100%. Unlike trainers who might continue training someone who is ill because otherwise it directly affects their income, Melody always puts health and safety above all else. In short, she is a tremendously careful, knowledgeable trainer who constantly observes, checks weight levels, monitors any troubles, modifies exercises depending on my physical condition and even checks in via text or emails to see how I feel after workouts. As an acupuncturist-in-training and a massage therapist, Melody happens to be one of the best trainers for people who are particularly worried about managing pain and have chronic problems. I happen to have a chronic shoulder problem that has gotten much, much better since training with her. All of Melody’s training spots are filled, I believe, but if you’re lucky enough to start with her or can get on the waiting list, you will not look back.
