Everyone else has already said everything I want to say, but I guess it doesn’t hurt to say again – Melody is awesome! She’s a great person who “walks the walk” and has a huge sense of humor.
I’ve never seen a personal trainer before I went to Melody, but she made me feel very comfortable training with her. I’m a web developer so my job is VERY sedentary. She kicks my butt and I’ve got visible muscles now. I can actually do a push-up! Not even one, but multiples without stopping! 🙂
She emphasizes proper form and while she encourages you, she makes sure you don’t go overboard (no passing out or puking!). I also love the non-traditional (dumbbells, barbells, weight machines) exercises and equipment she uses because you’re working out several different muscles in each exercise. Kettlebells, sledgehammers, sandbags, ropes, etc. Sessions are always different too, so you’re not doing the same thing over and over again. Well, the push-ups are never ending…
